Learn How To Meditate

jovankaciares.com. I often say that meditation is the practice of training the mind to achieve control, peace and other benefits. Others may define it differently and that is because meditation is a personal, internal practice, subject to interpretation and often adjusted based on the person’s needs, tastes and lifestyle.

Dreams are god damn knackering – Andre Agassi

I just read the autobiography of Andre Agassi, particularly exciting for those who love tennis.
I have discovered a character totally unlike what I thought, different form the image that could give the media (yet one more illustration of the media misinformation)
We learn Agassi hated tennis … Strange for a champion, who was so successful and had one of the longest careers of the circuit …
One of the phrases that I have liked is: “Dreams are so damn tiring”

When we’re a kid, we think that we’ll realize our dreams, everything appears achievable.
And then fact includes a bunch of barriers, brakes, fears, and eventually the majority of people will live a life as row as the life of their parents …
Because realizing its dreams asks commitment, faith, humility, bravery, beating its fears and doubts, and especially daily effort, determination … And time!
Eventually most folks end up abandoning their dreams … And that could be a shame

In this autobiography we see that Agassi has realized such a career thanks to his gifts but also thanks to his entourage (his coach Brad Gilbert, his physical coach Gil) and the development of systems to win.
Why do I make it obvious that?
In fact few folk have a genuine system to realize their dreams or at least their objectives …
That’s why few folk succeed. Because it’s exhausting, and folk prefer when it’s straightforward rather than difficult

And you?
What is your strategy to achieve your goals? And if you have one, is it working?
And if it doesn’t work, perhaps it’s time to acquire one that works …

Make the Dream devours your life so that life doesn’t devour your dreams, it is the topic of the second training Being Happy.
